The Rhodes Scholarships brings outstanding students from many countries around the world to the University of Oxford. U.S. Rhodes Scholars are selected through a decentralized process by which regional selection committees choose 32 Scholars each year. Rhodes Scholars are chosen not only for their outstanding scholarly achievements, but for their character, commitment to others and to the common good, and for their potential for leadership in whatever domains their careers may lead

Application Deadline: First Wednesday of October each year

Eligibility Requirements:

• Applicant must be a citizen of the U.S. OR a lawful permanent resident of the U.S. OR a U.S. resident with DACA status on April 15 in the year of application.
• At least 18 but not yet 24 years of age (i.e., the applicant must still be 23 on October 1 in the year of application)
